Pittosporum tenuifolium Silver Queen is a vigorous evergreen with softly wavy, greygreen leaves edged cream, giving bright, yearround variegation. In late spring to early summer it bears small, dark purple flowers that are scented at night. Ideal as a structural shrub or informal hedge, it thrives in full sun or light shade and in moist but welldrained, moderately fertile soil; provide shelter from cold, drying winds. Ultimately reaching around 34m, trim lightly after risk of frost to maintain shape.
