Thrives in bright, indirect light. Provide plenty of filtered natural light to encourage strong, steady growth and maintain deep green leaf colour. Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the delicate leaves, and deep shade, which can lead to slower growth and elongated internodes.
Keep the soil lightly moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top 23 cm of soil feels dry. The roots prefer consistent moisture with excellent aeration overwatering or compacted soil can quickly lead to root rot. Reduce watering slightly during cooler months.
