It offers subtle, calming tones through spring and summer, followed by a spectacular seasonal change.
Foliage: Bright, fresh medium green, five- to seven-lobed palmate leaves emerge in spring, creating a soft, airy canopy. In autumn, they turn dazzling shades of yellow, orange and red, often with multiple hues on the same tree.
Habit: Forms a graceful, upright small tree or large shrub, typically reaching 35 metres high, developing a rounded or slightly layered crown over time.
Bark: Smooth grey branches provide gentle winter interest.
