It is one of the most striking Jewel Alocasia varieties, admired for its dark, metallic foliage and otherworldly beauty.
The plant produces broad, heart-shaped leaves with an extraordinary deep burgundy to almost jet-black sheen that changes with the light. The surface of the leaves is highly reflective and velvety, giving it a metallic, mirror-like appearance almost as though theyve been dipped in liquid obsidian. The undersides contrast beautifully in rich maroon or red tones.
