This classic variety is admired for its refined appearance and adaptability, making it one of the most widely grown indoor ferns.
The plant forms elegant clumps of upright to arching fronds that can reach 3060 cm in length. Each frond is finely divided into narrow, pointed leaflets, giving it a soft and airy texture. Unlike the variegated cultivars, Green is uniform in colour, with fronds in a rich, glossy green that bring a calming natural look to interiors. Prefers bright, indirect light or partial shade. It can tolerate lower light, but avoid deep shade which slows growth. Direct sun may scorch the fronds, so filtered light is best.
