Native to the rainforests of South and Central America, as well as the Caribbean, this plant is prized for its distinctive, powdery-blue foliage and graceful, arching growth habit.
Unlike more delicate fern varieties, Blue Star has a robust character and is relatively easy to care for, making it perfect for both new and experienced plant owners. The fronds are broad, gently lobed, and covered in a fine, waxy coating that gives them a silvery-blue to blue-green hue a unique colour among houseplants.
