Each leaf is thick, leathery, and polished to a natural shine, arranged symmetrically in a rosette-like pattern around a sturdy central stem. Keep the soil lightly moist but never waterlogged. Water when the top 34 cm of soil feels dry to the touch. Overwatering can lead to root rot, while underwatering may cause drooping or brown leaf edges. In winter, reduce watering slightly while maintaining humidity.
