The Corkscrew hazel is a large deciduous shrub or small tree.The highly contorted and twisted stems make it a very attractive specimen in the garden, especially in the winter and spring when the foliage has fallen and the catkins appear.

Soil: Moist but well-drained, Alkaline to neutral
