Halimium libanotis is a compact, bushy, sun-loving evergreen with silvery-grey foliage and bright yellow, saucer-shaped flowers in late spring to early summer. Grow in full sun in very well-drained, light sandy or chalky soil that is poor to moderately fertile; avoid winter wet. Ideal for rock and coastal gardens and Mediterranean-style planting. Eventual size around 3060 cm tall and 6090 cm wide. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape, avoiding cuts into old wood; in colder areas provide a warm, sheltered spot and protection from severe frost.
