Leptospermum Red Damask is an evergreen tea-tree noted for its aromatic foliage and abundant, fully double red flowers in late spring to early summer. Forming a compact, upright shrub around 1.52m tall by 11.5m wide, it thrives in full sun to light shade in moist but well-drained, neutral to acid soil; avoid chalk. Choose a warm, sheltered position to protect from cold winds and severe frost. An excellent specimen or structural shrub for mixed borders, where its fine texture, evergreen presence and vivid seasonal bloom provide long-lasting interest.
