Mint, Peppermint

A perennial herb with bright green leaves. Once established it can put out runners, which will spread to other parts of the herb bed. A solution is to grow in containers or hanging baskets. Trim out the flower heads to keep the plant bushy. Fresh mint goes well with green summer vegetables, lamb and new potatoes. Also suitable for making mint tea or adding to fruit salads.Position in full sun to partial shade and in rich, moist, well-drained soil. Mulch annually.
