Pittosporum tenuifolium Silver Ball is a compact, naturally rounded evergreen with small, silvery foliage that holds its colour year round. Ideal as a low hedge, for neat structural accents or containers, it grows steadily into a tidy dome and pairs well with contemporary or formal schemes. Best in full sun or light shade in fertile, moist but well-drained soil; provide shelter from cold, drying winds. In late spring to early summer it may produce small, dark purple flowers that are sweetly scented in the evening. Eventual size around 11.5m tall and wide with a moderate growth rate.
